This is the latest release by Oakland hardcore band Beau Navire. Members of I Wrote Haikus and Loma Prieta, they're aptly labeled "soul/punk". Just think of punk being played with "jazz chords" with a fuzzy wall-of-sound quality reminiscent of the fuzzy guitars of My Bloody Valentine and you've got a good idea of what they sound like. Amazing band, you'd be insane not to give it a shot.
