мища - Their side of a split with We Were Skeletons. мища - Not For Ears

192 klbs/2011 & 2009

We Were Skeletons Split (all мища):

1. A midwinter's nights dream
2. ...at least we got capri suns
3. I've built a few houses, but I've broken more homes
4. Mondaytuesdaywednesdaythursdayfridaysaturdaysunday

Not For Ears:

1. Landlocked
2. In tents
3. Vanilla ice cold

This Baltimore based screamo/emo violence/who fucking cares/ band is easily my most recent favorite band. Though they have released at least at least 20 songs, but only these seven were in decent enough quality for you my dear reader. What caught my eye immediately about this band was the fact that they don't have a bassist, and believe me they don't need one. These fuckers make enough noise for six bands. Have yourself a listen.

GDP - Magic Bullet

2010 320kbps

1. Nitroglycerine ft. Faggy Smokes & Pistol
2. Raining In My Head
3. Muzzy
4. Flamboyant
5. Gateway to a Savage Frontier

Dirty ass white boy hip hop from New Jersey. This guy has a voice that will surprise you and flow that rivals some of the best. A very underground sound that will keep you interested. As in, you probably haven't really heard something like this before. Dude loves drugs, partying and bitches, which is totally fine with me. This is his most recent release, but he's got quite the catalog already. Buy some shit here if you're interested. Love me some GDP and you should too.

Ten Thousand Leagues

Ten Thousand Leagues is a screamo/punk band from SoCal, birthed in 2010, that's comprised of past and current members from Calculator, ColorChromatic, Moldar, and Lautrec. They travel from riff to riff so smoothly that you would assume this was a band with half a decade under their belt already. Their unrelenting and dynamic brand of punk keeps you on your toes but still has you believing that there's some sort of structure to all the madness. I would assume this would sit well with fans of Loma Prieta.

If you want a better quality version of the demo than what I give you below, go to their bandcamp. I didn't upload the bandcamp quality download because part of downloading it from there is that it gets you to join their mailing list. So there.

Amazing new album from Talib Kweli, the king of underground hip-hop. You'd be a goofball to not check this one out. Nothing Kweli has put out has been bad. Probably the most consistent rapper I listen to.

Check it.

Grails - Deep Politics (2011) 192

1. Future Primitive
2. All The Colors Of The Dark
3. Corridors Of Power
4. Deep Politics
5. Daughters Of Bilitis
6. Almost Grew My Hair
7. I Led Three Lives
8. Deep Snow

No way to properly describe this band and do them justice. Experimental, acoustic, ambient, borderline Floydian rockin' tunes. 12 strings, pan flutes, what's not to love? "I Lee Three Lives" and "Almost Grew My Hair" and "Deep Snow" stick out as album favorites.
